Anime Concert Radar - September 2026

Welcome to the very first Anime Concert Radar, a new monthly post where I will cover upcoming anime concert dates and newly announced tours outside of Japan / East Asia.

If you missed the news, the AniPlaylist app (Android & iOS) now has a "Concerts" tab where you'll find all tour dates from artists who have performed openings, endings or OSTs for an anime, along with direct links to buy tickets!

Newly announced tours

A few tours have been announced over the last few weeks:

  • Wasuta (Idol Time PriPara, Kiratto Prichan) have announced their disbandment for February 2027. They're kicking off their farewell tour "WASUTA is my life!!!" in Japan this month, with Asian dates also announced for the end of the year in Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan.
  • TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Black Clover, Solo Leveling) have announced their worldwide tour "Steal the Wind" which will run from November 2026 to June 2027.
  • ONE OR EIGHT, which was just announced to be performing the ending for Black Clover Season 2, have announced an Asian tour stopping in Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.
  • Yoko Takahashi will be touring Asia for the "Evangelion Live Tour Nocturne", with dates in Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo.

Upcoming concerts

Asia

FLOW will be touring Asia with their NARUTO THE ROCK tour with dates in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. Boy band BE:FIRST, who performed the Wandance OP and One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga ED, will be performing in Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines as part of their WORLD SHOWCASE WATCH ME tour. On September 12, Malaysia hosts Anisama Malaysia 2026 -Gateway-, with a lineup that might make the rest of the world jealous: Konomi Suzuki, MYTH & ROID, Machico, Aguri Oonishi and Lia. Malaysians will also get to see Nami Tamaki at Anime Fest Plus in Kuala Lumpur on September 27.

Early October, the Philippines will host Cosplay Mania, which will feature concerts for Nami Tamaki, MindaRyn and ZAQ.

Tour for BE:FIRST, FLOW & Anisama Malaysia

Europe

Europe welcomes the legendary LiSA, who will perform her "LiVE is Smile Always ~15~ Tour" in Italy, Germany, France and wrap up in the UK. Almost all dates are nearly sold out!

Spain is particularly well-served this month: Coda (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) will be performing in Barcelona and Valencia, and Japan Weekend Madrid 2026 brings together May'n, Machico, Liella! and bôa. Japan Weekend Bilbao, scheduled for early October, recently announced Mika Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, Gundam Unicorn) as the first announced artist.

🇫🇷 French-speaking readers: Si vous cherchez un listing complet des artistes J-Music qui passent en France et en Europe, n'hésitez pas à aller lire l'Agenda des concerts J-music de 2026 sur le blog de Tanja !

Africa

Africa has very few concerts announced for now, with the exception of Comic Con Africa in South Africa, which welcomes Mirai Skirt⁺ (Marina Kojima), whom you may know from the ending of I Want You To Show Me Your Panties With a Disgusted Face Return.

North America

A packed month for North America, with tours from BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID, LE SSERAFIM, aespa and JO1, alongside more intimate shows from Yuuri (My Hero Academia), Melt-Banana (Ninja Slayer From Animation), toe in Mexico (Sonny Boy), and LOUDNESS (Bomber Bikers of Shonan).

A few highlights:

South America

South America welcomes two tours:

  • Korean girl group aespa (Kill Blue, Beyblade X) stops in Chile and Peru.
  • Post-rock/math rock band toe (Sonny Boy insert song) plays multiple dates across Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. Don't miss the chance to see them live — their Paris show was one of my best concert experiences of the year!

Coda (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) also heads to Argentina for two conventions: Tokyo Side Show and Tokyo Stage.

A good opportunity to share this performance of toe in THE FIRST TAKE

I hope this new kind of post will help you plan your next concerts. Let me know in the comments if you like it!
